28 Apr 2008 - SWRT becomes an Approved Raptor Rescue Rehabilitator
We are very pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of Raptor Rescue (a national network of birds of prey carers) have approved Shanwell Wildlife Rescue Trust's application to become an approved rehabilitation centre.
This means that members of the public can be assured that any injured bird taken into care by a Raptor Rescue Approved Rehabilitator will receive the best of attention from someone with suitable experience and facilities to care for the casualty in a proper and lawful manner.
This will mean that any calls received form the North East of Scotland to the Raptor Rescue national helpline will be forwarded to SWRT.
This approval is recognition of the hard work done by the whole volunteer team here at SWRT.
The many hours of commitment has paid off. "WELL DONE TEAM".
