16 Aug 2008 - Rising Costs sees Ambulance Fleet reduced
It is with regret that we announce that due to the ever increasing fuel, insurance and maintenance costs we have decided that the charity can no longer sustain two wildlife ambulances.
We have therefore decided to dispose of our Ford Ranger 4x4 truck which, with a 2.5 turbo diesel engine was just costing to much to run.
We will continue to operate our Renault Kangoo van and are confident that the reduction of our 'fleet' will not have an effect on the amount of calls to which we respond.
