Fawn found in field, cold, badly emaciated and dehydrated. Reports that body parts of what may have been fawns mother found in field a week earlier after combine harvester cutting of crops. Fawn taken directly to Fair City vets in Perth and placed on I.V. fluids. |

Dog got loose from owner and ran into busy traffic and was hit by a transit van. First aid given to dog on scene and then rushed by SWRT Ambulance to vets for treatment. |

Hog found out during the day. Upon examination it was found to have an infected nail bed on front foot. |

FERAL PIGEON |
Call from B&Q warehouse reporting that a pigeon had gained access to a small stock area which has no external doors or windows. Staff could not get to the bird due to the height at which the bird was perched. SWRT team attended with nets, ladder and working at height PPE. Bird caught, examined and released. |

Report received that one of the six remaining cygnets at harbour was unable to get out of water and could not walk. Team caught bird and recovered to vet for examination. Xrays of keel, pelvis & legs reveal no obvious injuries. |
