These items are the minimum required to effect a rescue of an injured animal. 
 
Other specialised equipment such as our inflatable boat, ladders, larger crates for deer, etc. are available to use as and when required.


In addition to the equipment listed above we issue our wildlife rescue volunteers with personal protection equipment such as:
 

Vinyl gloves (Infection control)

Rubble / work gloves

Life jacket & Rescue throwline

Safety hard hat

Climbing helmet

Safety eye protection

Safety footwear (metal toecap wellington boots)

Waterproof clothing

High visibility bomber jacket


As you can imagine these products do not come cheap and we are asking both members and supporters to organise fund raising events such as car boot sales, cheese and wine parties, etc, in order to raise the necessary funds.
